U Got A Friend (UGAF) Premium Veteran and Senior In-Home Care founded in 2019 and headquartered in Tulsa, OK. We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who will work directly with veterans and seniors to help support and maximize their quality of life by providing in-home assistance with activities of daily living. As a CNA with UGAF, your reponsibility will be providing basic patient care and assisting with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.

Job responsibility:

• Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitoring patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
• Feeding patients and helping them with meals as needed
• Assisting patients with mobility, including transferring them from bed to wheelchair
• Changing linens and bedpans as needed
• Recognizes and reports signs/symptoms of abuse and/or change in condition.
• Practices proper body mechanics while moving/transferring patients.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
• Maintaining patient records and documentation
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Active certification as a nursing assistant in the state of employment
• Ability to read and write in English, as well as follow oral and written instructions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction from supervisors
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and moving patients
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and infection control procedures
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
• Reliable and time management skills
• Willing to travel to Muskogee, Tulsa, Wagoner and Creek Co.
